Four years after their last album "Träume der Schlaflosen" the fourth Full Lenght album of the german VARGSHEIM titled "Söhne der Sonne" is available. The band itself, which was already founded in 2005 and whose musicians are also active as the live band of Imperium Dekadenz, has the ambition to improve their work from album to album.
"Söhne der Sonne" unites the charm of the rocky, rude predecessor and at the same time also reflects a bit on the conceptual songwriting of the first records - and unites the trademarks of their previous works on a common denominator. The result is a black-metallic journey that lyrically deals with Overestimation of one's own capabilities, self-awareness, human arrogance and the ravages of time. These themes are embedded in a musical foundation that does justice to the content in terms of emotional intensity...
Söhne der Sonne" was mixed and mastered by Nikita Kamprad (Der Weg einer Freiheit) / Ghost City Recordings (e.g. Ancst, Beyond The Black), while bassist Harvst himself is responsible for the haunting cover painting.
