Seit ihren Anfängen als Fackelträger des deutschen Thrash-Metals in den 1980er Jahren haben sich die Siegener ACCUSER als eine der beständigsten und einflussreichsten Kapazitäten in der internationalen Metal-Szene etabliert. Studioalbum vor und knüpft darauf stilistisch an die vorherigen Alben „Dependent Domination“ und „Diabolic“ an, während es zugleich Elemente aus den früheren Alben der Band aufgreift. Insgesamt ist „Rebirthless“ genau das, was sich die Band vorgestellt hat: ein kraftvolles und durchdachtes Album, das ihre musikalische Vision perfekt umsetzt und dabei alles enthält was die Band seit jeher ausmacht: kraftvolle Melodien, aggressive Rhythmen und tiefgründige Texte, die die Hörer fesseln und zum Nachdenken anregen.
Aufgenommen, gemixt und gemastert wurde im Gernhart Studio in Troisdorf von Martin Buchwalter. Als Vorlage des Coverartworks dient das Gemälde „La révolte des Enfers contre le Ciel (The revolt of the hell against the heaven)“ von Antoine Joseph Wiertz.

The album, which was recorded and produced in the Tobe Studio in Siegen, not only impresses with its musical authenticity, but is also based on a sophisticated content.
The lyrics deal with an interdependent individual and collective failure that leads to catastrophes of different kinds. Inspired by historical examples, but also deeply personal experiences of the musicians. The lyrics do not describe, they accuse this failure. They are highly political and show the middle finger to anyone who conjures up such a failure, or who surrenders to this failure.

And that is not enough, because what has become apparent in parts on "Mogontiacum", finds its consequent continuation on their new work "Totholz Ein Raunen aus der Klangwald". Nocte Obducta close the circle to their musical roots! "Totholz" is a rough piece of metal, which have of course the band-typically harmonies and thus does not lose any of the uniqueness that characterizes their work.
"Totholz" is oppressive, cold, raw, poignant and with the almost 15 minute "Wiedergänger Blues" also a bit psychedelic. Above all, this album is a confession to the "old school". Less experimental than some of his predecessors, but nevertheless anything but ordinary and at the end always unique. Nocte Obducta succeeds in perfecting her very own style and, at the same time, bring a bridge back to its beginnings without neglecting the developments of her more than 20-year history. This album is likely to meet the nerve of fans of all her creative periods.

For 15 years now the South German NUCLEAR WARFARE have dedicated themselves to the good old Thrash Metal of the 80s and have established themselves in the last years to spearheading this genre. In addition to countless tours and concerts across the continent, the time has come for a new album every few years. So also 2017.
"Empowered By Hate" is the name of the new album, and the album title reflects the aim! 10 neckbreakers have hammered, produced and mastered in the Papiris studio in Sao Paulo. The work was made under the direction of Caio Monfort between August 2016 and January 2017, in order to release them into humanity in the form of their now fifth longplayer. And everyone who knows the South Germans, knows also that their merciless homage to the German Thrash of the 80s, mixed with Bay Area influences, is always able to unscrew your head!
Losing much more words would be like carry coals to Newcastle. In addition, the band regularly found a way to descripe their music in just a few words, like the titel of the predecessor album "Just Fucking Thrash". Stagewar, founded in 2003 in the Frankfurt area, live up to their name and have developed into a tireless live band over the last few years, playing a good 200 shows to date, with more to follow after the release of their third longplayer "Danger To Ourselves". The band themselves describe their style as "straight thrash metal with a good portion of rock'n'roll", which basically hits the nail on the head!
The present 8 tracks captivate with catchy and multilayered arrangements. The whole thing was mixed and mastered at Pitchback Studios by Aljoscha Sieg (Suidakra, Eskimo Callboy, among others), which promises a brilliant production. The album's artwork is by tattoo artist James Reuter (Remember Tomorrow Tattoos) and enhances not only the digipak but also the vinyl edition in a fold-out gatefold.

Back to the roots?!
Auf den Monat genau 30 Jahre nach Bandgründung legen uns die deutschen Melodic/Celtic Death Metaller von SUIDAKRA ihr 15. Studioalbum vor! Musikalisch besinnt sich die Band mit den vorliegenden 11 Tracks augenscheinlich auf ihre Anfangsjahre, denn zweifellos wird DarkanakraD von melodischen Death Metal Anteilen dominiert, vollzieht dabei aber gleichzeitig auch eine Weiterentwicklung. Das Album, dessen Titel übersetzt soviel wie „Armageddon“ bedeutet, klingt so frisch und kraftvoll als wäre die Band einem Jungbrunnen entsprungen und schließt die „Realms Of Odoric“ Trilogie, die 2016 mit dem gleichnamigen Album begann, ab.
Auch andere Kreise schließen sich, denn die 11 Songs, erstmals selbst im eigenen GHA Studio in Würzburg von Mastermind Arkadius aufgenommen, gemixt und gemastert, wurden von Death Metal Legende Dan Swanö gemastert. Damit erfüllte sich für Arkadius so etwas wie ein Traum, denn Edge Of Sanity hatten in der Anfangsphase Suidakras einen prägenden Anteil an der musikalisch-melodischen Ausrichtung der Band. Mit einem At The Gates Medley am Ende der Platte, zollen Suidakra zudem einem weiteren Einfluss ihrer Gründungsjahre Tribut.
Das inhaltliche Konzept, sowie natürlich das entsprechende Artwork stammt erneut von Kris Verwimp und so enthält „Darkankrad“ unterm Strich alles, was die Band in den letzten 30 Jahren geprägt hat und ist ein Album, wie man es zum Bandjubiläum sich selbst und den eingefleischten Fans nicht besser hätte schenken können!
